Our French Apple Pie is based off of a Wright family recipe passed down from Grandma Melda Jean Ebling. Breast cancer took Melda Jean far too soon at the age of 62 but her recipe lives on for us all to enjoy here at Black Dog Tavern! The recipe uses a homemade oat and brown sugar crust and is filled with granny smith apples. Topped with caramel sauce and served warm or cold at your request, get yours a la mode for $1.25 extra!
